The Challenge

Creating a therapy brand that connects to nature.

Creating a therapy brand that connects to nature.

Andrew came to me for a logo for his private therapy practice. We started with a conversation to understand where his business is now and where he envisions it going, shaping the foundation for the identity.

My Solution

Drawn from the founder's personal connection to nature to create brand identity

He knew he wanted nature to be a key element he worked towards incorporating in his future practice, but left the rest to my discretion. As an avid outdoorsman, he shared a memorable hiking experience in the Olympic Mountain Range on the Washington Peninsula with me, which became the foundation for my design choices.

To illustrate the logo I had in mind, the challenge was to incorporate the hike’s topographic map while capturing the elements he described, such as watching the morning sunrise from the Olympics High Divide.

By tracing the elevation lines, I looked closely at their natural movement and shapes, allowing me to create organic forms that reflect the landscape’s contours and the fluidity of the lakes in the basin to create the final logo.

The Outcome

Embracing nature & calm to attract clients through visuals

Andrew’s branding helped establish a clear path for his practice. By aligning the visuals with his personal story and future direction, the result is a logo and brand that not only represents nature, but also embodies reflection and growth—mirroring the journey of self-discovery and healing he guides his clients through, while attracting the right people.
